Green Sea Silver prioritises transparency and fairness in all transactions. Before proceeding with your purchase, I encourage you to carefully read my terms and conditions, which outline your rights and responsibilities as a customer, as well as the commitments I make to you as a seller.
By accessing or using any part of this website and/or purchasing something from me, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree then please leave the website immediately.
My e-commerce store is hosted by Ionos. They provide me with the online e-commerce platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England.
Payment Security and Privacy
Shopping at Green Sea Silver means shopping with confidence. We utilize the latest technology to secure your payment information and protect your privacy. Our terms lay out how we handle your personal data and your rights regarding this information, ensuring a safe shopping experience every time.

When you provide me with your payment information, you authorise the use of and access to the payment instrument you have chosen to use. By providing me with that information you authorise me to charge the amount due, to this payment instrument.
Payments are not processed through pages controlled by me. I use one or more online payment service providers who will encrypt your card or bank account details in a secure environment.
Hallmarking
In the UK, jewellers are required to hallmark their work (over a certain weight) as a guarantee of the quality of the metals used. I am registered with the London Assay Office.
Precious metals are rarely used in their purest form but are usually alloyed with other metals for workability, durability, wearability. It isn't possible to detect an article's precious metal content by sight or touch. Therefore, it is a legal requirement for an Assay Office to hallmark articles containing precious metals if they are described as such. (Weight exemptions apply for items below certain weights. For silver 7.78g, gold and palladium over 1g, and platinum over 0.5g to have a UK recognised hallmark.)
Delivery
The usual processing time for an order (excluding bespoke, custom or made to order) is 5 working days with items often dispatched on the same or next working day. If there is for some reason any likelihood that this time could be extended then the customer will be contacted as soon as possible.
Any bespoke, custom or made to order item will have varying processing and dispatch times according to the nature of the work involved and an estimate will be provided and agreed with the customer before such an order is placed.
When you purchase goods from this website you will be given options as to how you wish for it to be delivered via Royal Mail. Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method selected, however these cannot be guaranteed. Please note that any delivery times do not include bank holidays or weekends.
I do not presently offer a service to deliver overseas and all orders are restricted to UK addresses only.
Returns & Refunds
I recognize that sometimes purchases may not meet your expectations. My terms include clear guidelines on refunds and returns, ensuring that you feel secure in your decision to shop with me Please review these policies thoroughly to understand your options and how to initiate a return or refund.
Refund requests must be made within 14 days after receipt of goods. Refunds do not apply to personalised items, bespoke or made to order items or earrings (unless faulty).
Should you wish to make a return please email me at greenseasilver@gmail.com to let me know if you wish to exchange or return.
- Goods must be sent back in a fully re-saleable condition, ie unworn or altered and in the original packaging
- the buyer is responsible for any loss in value if not returned as above
- I strongly advise you obtain proof or posting and recommend using special delivery or Tracked Royal Mail Services for insurance purposes as I am not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs before receipt by me.
Please be aware that I do not refund postage or courier fees for unwanted items.
Faulty Goods
Please examine the goods received from me immediately you received them. If you do not tell me of any defects or problems within 30 days of receipt I shall assume that you have accepted them.
Should you discover a fault please inform me by email to greenseasilver@gmail.com of your discovery of any defect or fault, telling me clearly what is the issue and providing photographic evidence. The goods must be returned to me as soon as the defect has been discovered but not later than six months from receipt by you.
If any defect is found then I shall
- repair or replace the good, or
- refund the full cost you have paid, including the cost or returning the goods to me.
I am not liable for damage to goods as a result of fair wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage or improper handling, storage or care.

All Content published and made available on this website is the property of Susan Brigden and Green Sea Silver. This includes, but is not limited to, images, text, logos and documents and anything that contributes to the composition of my website.

I am not liable for any actions, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from the use of my website.
This website has been set up to sell jewellery, knitwear and other handmade goods.
I am under a legal duty to supply goods that match the description of the good(s) that you order from my website. All information, descriptions or images that I provide are as accurate as possible however i cannot guarantee that your computer, tablet or phone monitor, displays any colour of the goods accurately.
I am not legally bound by such information that I provide in good faith and you agree to purchase the goods from the website at your own risk. I do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations.
The price of goods may be changed by me at any time without notice. I will however never change a price already charged to you at the time of purchase.
I reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary, and reserve teh right to do so without giving prior warning or providing a reason. If I cancel an order with the payment already processed, I will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid.
I only sell goods to the UK.
