1. Rings
Knowing if a ring is going to fit you is always a difficult. The best and easiest way is to try it on. However this is not always possible.
You can buy plastic ring gauge sizer's online or contact me and I can post one to you.
Or you can measure your finger with a piece of string, mark with a pen where the string meets and then measure that distance with a ruler
- Never measure first thing in the morning or when you are cold.
- Measure several times to ensure correct reading
- Rings with a thicker band will be tighter so you may need to go up a size
The chart to the side then lets you know what ring size your measurement is. You will note that each size is a tiny measurement apart and so accurately is very important.
How to work out the size
- Rings
- Bangles & Bracelets
- Necklaces
- Gloves & Mittens

2. Bangles & Bracelets
Bangles
Bangle sizing depends on your hands widest point (knuckle circumference) rather than your wrist size.
Fold your hand (thumb end towards little finger) fingers straight, as though you are going to slide a bangle on. Using a measuring tape or string measure across the main knuckles at the widest point.
To the left is a chart showing the sizes and the internal circumference of my bangles. If between sizes go for a bigger bangle.
Bracelets
This measurement does relate to your wrist size. Measure around your wrist with a tape or string and this will give your wrist size. You then usually need to size up around 2 cm to have a comfortable fit.

3. Necklaces
It is sometimes hard to envisage how long a chain will feel when being worn. The chart to the right gives a rough guide as to where a length of necklace will sit.
Please note that when a pendant is attached it will pull the chain down a little.
Length Length Name Body Position
14 inch 35 cm Choker Neck
16 inch 40 cm Princess Collarbone
18 inch 45 cm Princess Collarbone
20 inch 50 cm Matinee Above Heart
24 inch 60 cm Matinee Bust
30 inch+ 76 cm + Opera Below Bust
4. Gloves & Mittens
Hopefully this sizing chart will be helpful in choosing the size you need.
Measure the width and length of your hands using a measuring tape. If you don't have a tape you can use some string and then measure that on a ruler.
- WIDTH Wrap the measure around the knuckles where the fingers join the palm, excluding the thumb and make a fist. This measurement is your 'hand width'
- LENGTH Measure from the bottom edge of the of the palm to the tip of the middle finger to determine the 'hand length'
When between sizes - go up a size.
As a general guide:
- Toddler sizes range from 9 - 14 cm in width
- Kids sizes ranges from 15 - 19 cm
